The Process.

  1. Nets & Ropes – Fishing vessels bring back old and damaged nets and ropes from the sea.
  2. Collection Points in Harbours for End-of-Life Fishing Nets and Ropes – These materials are delivered to designated collection points located in harbours.
  3. Visual Inspection and Registration – The collected materials are visually inspected and registered to record quality, type, and origin.
  4. Collector Trucks – Trucks collect the gathered nets and ropes from the harbour collection points. The verified materials are delivered to official circuvation collection facilities for further processing.
  5. Sorting & Cutting – At these facilities, the materials are sorted by type and cut into smaller, manageable pieces.
  6. Washing – The sorted materials are cleaned and washed thoroughly to remove any contaminants.
  7. Extrusion to PP Granula – In the recycling factory, the cleaned material is melted and extruded into recycled polypropylene (rPP) granules.
  8. Shipping – Finally, the recycled PP granules are shipped to customers or manufacturing partners for reuse in new products.
